Wife (Marilyn Fagles)
Marilyn Fagles was Robert's wife, and they were happily married right up until Robert's death. Here is basic information on Marilyn's life and all about her marriage/relationship with her husband Robert.
Robert and Marilyn were both born in the same city, and they met each other when Marilyn was 14 and Robert was 15. The two dated through high school and took a break during college. However, they eventually began dating again and got married (1956). Marilyn unfortunately was unable to have children due to a surgery she underwent as a child, so the pair adopted two children. Robert and Marilyn also traveled to many countries together and even lived in Florence Italy and Greece for awhile.

Marilyn taught a wide variety of students ranging from kindergarteners to adults throughout her teaching career. Now, she teaches foreign students English who are studying at Princeton University and is on the
Board of ‘People and Stories’ charity and ‘ Princeton University Library.' Marilyn continuously supported Robert and his work throughout his career, and even after his death she works with Princeton University (the college Robert taught at).
